Bank assignment for an ICstat expert: Post Agricultural
Census 2010, Montenegro.
The Statistical Office of Montenegro (MONSTAT) is implementing
the 2010 “Agricultural Census” following World
Bank guidelines.
PROJECT AWARDED IN ZAMBIA
ICstat
director, Giorgio D’Amore, is
the team leader of a Project Formulation
Mission to design a EU project for “Support
to Statistics in Zambia” awarded to
our company within FWC Lot 11. The main objective is
to
support the Zambian policy makers to take decisions
on the basis of good quality statistics, in particular
in order to inform the National Development Plans in
all its phases.

A
partir de marzo 2010, ICstat ha empezado un nuevo proyecto
“Misión de Asistencia Técnica Internacional
para la implementación de metodologías
e instrumentos para dar soporte al proceso de toma de

2009-2013 (SENPLADES)” junto a sus socios del
Contrato Marco EuropeAid Lote 11 en Quito.

Giovanni Ferri participated at the ADB-BNM-EC Joint
Conference “Beyond the Global Crisis: A New Asian
Growth Model?” in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), 18-20
October 2009.
ICstat
in KOSOVO - “Support in the
preparation of Census 2011”
“Support in the preparation of Census 2011”
is the title of a new project awarded to ICstat within
the FWC Lot 11.
The ICstat team leader is on the field starting from
the beginning of September 2009.

-International Cooperation Center for Statistics
ICstat,
"Centro per la Cooperazione Statistica Internazionale
- Luigi Bodio" was created as a non-profit association
on April 1st, 1996.
The
Association was established with the aim of:
• Promoting statistical culture at an international
level
• Providing the Italian statistical community with
an operational basis able to promote and co-ordinate
programmes for technical assistance financed by different
institutions, such as the Italian Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, the European Commission, agencies belonging
to the UN system, the World Bank and others.
ICstat is particularly involved in the Balkans and Eastern
and Central European countries, and in the Mediterranean

Framework Contract Opportunity to be selected within EuropeAid
Framework Contract to recruit short-term services
in the exclusive interest of third countries benefiting
from European Commission External aid.
Starting
from September 2009, ICstat has been awarded, once
again, as a pre-selected contractor for the
EC Lot 11 - Macro economy, Statistics and Public
Finance
ASEAN
“The production of reliable and timely statistical
data at a regional level is a key priority for ASEAN.
For this purpose, the statistical capacity of the
ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) needs to be strengthened
and ASEAN needs to enhance co-ordination among statistical
offices of the ASEAN member countries and between
them and ASEC ” (source: Eurostat)
Multiple
Framework Contract to recruit short-term services
for technical assistance for assessments in macroeconomics,
public finance management and
performance measurement Lot
2: Statistics and performance measurement assessments
ICstat has been awarded, as a pre-selected contractor
for the European
Commission External Aid Lot 2. The contract will
have an initial period of execution of 2 years
and it may
be renewed for a single period of two years.

Project to implement the National Archive of Agricultural
Farm Machinery.
WORK
WITH US
ICstat,
as leader of an international consortium, has been
short-listed for the EU funded project “Turkey
– Technical Assistance and Data Collection for
Strengthening the Statistical Capacity of the MARA
(the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs)”.
At this stage we are looking for suitable
candidates for the following long-term positions: - Key Expert 1 – Resident Team Leader
- Key Expert 2 – Statistical Survey Expert
- Key Expert 3 – EU Agricultural Statistics
System Expert
- Key Expert 4 – Statistics Expert Duration: The intended commencement
date is November 2010 and the period of execution
of the contract will be approximately 17 months
from this date. Applications: Candidates are invited
to apply at their earliest convenience, since available
positions will be closed as soon as covered with suitable
candidates.
