| Detailed
description of the project |
The
project aims at assisting Bosnia and Herzegovina
in the proper setting of the State Agency for Statistics
of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHAS) and at modernising
and harmonising the statistical production of each
of the entity statistical offices: the Institute
of Statistics of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
(FIS) and the Institute of Statistics of the Republika
Srpska (SIRS).
Main activities:
- organisation of training courses in the field
of informatics, statistics, economics,
- organisation of non-intensive English courses
both in Sarajevo and Banja Luka
- organisation of a study visit to ISTAT
- organisation of English summer schools in England
- organisation of technical assistance sessions
in various statistical fields
- organisation of training courses in the field
of statistics, economics, statistical applications,
- organisation of non-intensive English courses
both in Sarajevo and Banja Luka
- organisation of study visits to the Statistical
