| Detailed
description of the project |
The
project aims to strengthen the institutional capacity
and the understanding of EU integration requirements
of Hungarian institutions in view of the adhesion
and implementation of the Common Agricultural Policy
(CAP). Activities include the organisation of targeted
training courses, workshops and study tours on selected
agricultural statistical subjects including the
EU institutional system, the preparation of background
documents and studies for the trainees, the beneficiary
institutions or other entities, as well as the communication
campaign for some agricultural surveys.
Main training and studies:
- training course on the EU agricultural statistical
system;
- studies on agricultural census, survey techniques,
economic agricultural accounts and EC statistical
practices.
- study visits of Hungarian experts to ISTAT
- workshops on the evaluation of the 2000 Hungarian
Agricultural Census and the 2001 surveys on vineyard
and fruit.
