| Detailed
description of the project |
The
MED-NOE Project intended to provide assistance
to the National Statistical Institutes (NSIs)
of the MED countries for the elaboration of appropriate
methodologies to measure the Non Observed Economy
(NOE), in order to improve the exhaustiveness
and international comparability of GDP.
The project has also dealt with aspects involving
improvement of the labour market information system
as regards the non-regular labour force.
The main output of the project include:

A Database on NOE Literature.

A Publication on "MEDNOE recommendations"
(French, English and Arabic)
