description of the project |
The
overall objective was the development of an effective
tool to manage, map and track the comprehensive
financial management learning interventions, formal
and informal. Tool requirement was to cover all
municipal officials and to allow for statistics
to be consolidated into various levels of reporting.
The Municipal Finance Management Act (2003) (MFMA)
contains reforms to contribute to the South African
Government’s focus on improving financial
management skills in the public sector at the local
level. |
