The
main aim of the training seminar held in Madrid (12-16 July
1999) was to focus on the development of aviation statistics
in order to provide a methodological framework and practical
tools for the implementation of airport-to-airport databases
for air transport. Such air transport database includes data
on passengers, freight and mail and aircraft movements from
a flight stage and/or from an origin-destination point of
view, according to the standards set in the EC Draft Council
Regulation 95/C 325/08 for aviation statistics. |
