Abstract

The purpose of this report is to analyse the availability of transport statistics and the recent transport trends in the 12 Mediterranean countries (Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey) participating to the MED-Trans project, with the view of promoting an improved level of comparability and effectiveness of the data collected in the Mediterranean region.
